agreed. sr is a much easier build, having such a large aftermarket support. less time finding parts more time drifting.

yea i just need to find a donor chassis for cheap that has all the essentials. and the Ca is gonna be built from the start I'm not skimping on any corners. I chose the Ca because everyone has a SR sorry but i like diversity. plus when built right the Ca has much more potential and sounds better.

meh i wouldn't bother building it. Built motors are the worst when it comes to reliability.

if I were you I would run stock ca, and make your car super light (it's cheaper). Either way though you'll have fun!

Yeah.... I don't see how this as diversity when these motors were OEM to this chassis at one point in time. ****, these days it seems like the SR is diverse to the growing V8 crowd. I would like to think diversity means a Ford Ecoboost or something cool.

I've owned a few CA motors. I've poured thousands of gallons of blood, sweat, and tears into maintaining one just to drive on the street. The one advantage a CA has over a SR is the iron block, allowing for gobs more amount of boost. That's it, everything else about this motor is poorly designed and nearly three decades old.

I don't mean to sound like a hater. Good for you if you can keep it running and do amazing things with it once in a while, but I bet you'll hate every second of your life. It's not too late to not go down that road.

^^ I have open ears and am not stubborn I hear what you are saying and that one comment is the main factor in my choice I wanted a motor that came factory turbo. and fit directly to the S-chassis which gave me two option the SR and CA. I choose the CA because It was way cheaper I had it shipped to my door from Pennsylvania with trans, wiring harness, ecu, ignitor, MAF, turbo and compression tested with 150 across all cylinders. for 1200 that was my selling point over a SR there to expensive plus if built right I have heard both ends that they never last or they run forever so I think it just depends on how its built and maintained no offense.

I have a parts chassis you can pick over if you have money
