They are 300 tdw. They are just very meaty.

A 225/45/17 Kenda is thicker and taller than a 245/45/17 Federal 595

I've been preaching the same thing for a while now. They are the perfect Pro-AM tire because they last forever and ever. Welcome to the wise world of driving your car all of the time and never having to deal with bull**** tire changing excuses ever again.

It sure is

That track is scary as **** in the rain.

Where do you live again? Do you want to bring your car down to Traverse City?

bolt in cages are honestly the best. Smash a chassis, move everything to a new one. Also they hold resale value unlike a weld in.

^^^^ Just like Tung says, smash up your chassis, bolt this into your next one and get back into doing tandems at minimal cost.

Yup, the **** is welded on. Not going anywhere.

I got a S14/S15 Saito Achieve Bolt-In cage for sale. This thing probably won't save your life but it's good enough to pass amateur drift event tech to do tandem. It's a perfect choice for the low level drifter working his or her way up. I rocked this cage for 5 years and enjoyed tandems at the ASB, ECB, NSB, and MDU events. $600, comes with everything. I live near Traverse City, MI.

General Discussion / Re: Did America really kill drifting? article
« on: April 18, 2014, 10:15:56 pm »
Taka can drive **** yea he can drive but hes at like a 9th grade reading level with everyone around him at a college level.

This times a billion.

No one wants to go back to drifting before America got involved. You guys watch the **** from the 90's recently? Tandems are a million miles apart, drifts are slow as ****, no angle, and e-brake for everything because there just isn't enough power in the 90hp N/A motor.

Yeah I agree that it's kinda crappy that the LSx series motor has become the catch all, but it provides the perfect base line for anyone drifting. Want a 800hp SR motor? Well go **** your panties in a bunch because once you make a house-loan down payment on building the motor, you're most likely  going to blow that **** up within a year. Or you could go with a v8 which is more reliable for an 800hp goal due to more displacement.

Did America kill drifting? No, not really, the circumstances for which we are all ****ing would have come regardless if the good ol' U.S. of Freedom never got involved. I think the main problem is FD still hasn't got a solid foundation because drifting is still so new of a sport. Everybody has their own idea of what drifting is.
